In CIT we have a rich tradition on the Sporting field and this is something that we are very proud of. Throughout our history we are very proud to say that we achieved some on field success but we are more proud of the fact that we had some fantastic players wear the college colours at all levels that would include All Ireland winners to junior players. In CIT we cater for all kinds of players from the elite to player to the player who simply wants to play for the pure enjoyment of the sport. We provide all kinds of teams to suit each type of player that may enter our college from senior to the junior .No player or team is treated any differently and we are very proud of this fact. We firmly believe that taking part in a sport while in college can help develop our students academically but also help develop them as a person which is an extremely important for us.
